My Featured Web Design Project: Metropolis of Atlanta Philoptochos
Objective: A clean, modern, fully-responsive and intuitive, new website design for the Metropolis of Atlanta Philoptochos Society, a Greek Orthodox women’s philanthropic organization dedicated to helping the poor. This beautiful women’s organization thrives on the volunteer efforts of the women of the Greek Orthodox church.
Because this organization contributes to and supports so many Nationally recognized charitable organizations and does most of its fundraising by public outreach, it was important to make a website with an emphasis on imagery. Our goal was to effectively communicate the brand of their non-profit through the use of vivid, visual aids, as well as the addition of a blog for increased opportunities for audience engagement.
This particular client had an existing website presence but preferred a complete web overhaul, to include new text, images, graphics, pages, structure, buttons, a new blog, slideshows, sliders, ads, a full pdf resource library, mobile menu, flyers, and a modern recipe library for their Greek heirloom recipes. Just weeks after the official launch of this project, this website was awarded first place in the Nation by the National Philoptochos Society committee and was recognized at the National Clery-Laity Convention.
This website utilizes responsive technology and renders across all devices: desktop, laptop, mobile and tablet. To check out this technology and to view their modern, interactive website, visit: http://atlantametropolisphiloptochos.org.
